Mrs. Stiglbauer serves as the principal of Dreher High School. Before becoming the school’s instructional leader, Mrs. Stiglbauer taught at a middle school in Goose Creek for two years, at Dreher’s feeder middle school for six years, and at Dreher for one year. Prior to becoming the principal of Dreher, Mrs. Stiglbauer served as assistant principal at Dreher for nine years, as well as principal for six years at the award-winning feeder middle school, Hand Middle School.
She has attained the Masters plus 30 degree certification in Education Leadership, augmented by current graduate work. Mrs. Stiglbauer has been recognized as a National Distinguished Principal. She is a Milken Family Foundation National Educator and received the Terrell H. Bell Award for Leadership under the National Distinguished Principals Program. Mrs. Stiglbauer continues to broaden her knowledge by seeking professional growth through the Center for Creative Leadership.
Through this experience, she examines decision-making, leadership, and personal attributes to enhance her leadership capacities. She has participated in the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program, the University of Kentucky’s Center for School Leadership and Reform, and is an active participant in the South Carolina Association of School Administrators’ initiatives. She is a frequently sought speaker and presenter at national and state conferences , as well as in the community.
